Expanding Learning Possibilities
The Expanding Learning Possibilities (ELP) program offers afterschool and summer learning for K–8 students, combining academic support and hands-on enrichment in a safe environment. ELP extends learning beyond the school day while helping students strengthen skills,
build confidence, and explore new interests.
Students receive targeted tutoring aligned with state standards and participate in art, music, fitness, STEM, and service-learning activities. Through partnerships with the Alabama Virtual Institute and Team Tall, students engage in project-based STEM learning that builds curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation.
ELP helps students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing leadership, responsibility, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. These experiences empower students to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
